Letter from President

Hi to all the members,

This is my first newsletter as the Aerie President. For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Marty Hewitt. I have been a member for many years and have served in the past as Vice President and Chaplin.

I’ve got my work cut out for me learning the ropes and appreciate the help I’ve received these first weeks. We have many members that want to make this a great club and good place to spend their time. We have committee’s to set up and I’m looking for volunteers. Please get a hold of me or leave a note at the club if you are interested in participating.

We have Burger Nite back on Thursdays and I look forward to seeing the members stop in for a bite to eat.

Our NASCAR Derby is July 18th. This has been a great event the past couple years and from the talk I’m hearing it’s going to be bigger and better than ever. For the first time we are adding a teen race (13 to 17 years). The kids can build their own or race an adult car. We’ll have food and drinks, tables set up outside, door prizes and 50/50’s all day. Come out and enjoy the fun.
This is a challenging time for the people in Michigan and our Club. I look forward to serving you and working with the officers and members to make it the best it can be.

Let’s see what a positive impact we can have working together and keeping a positive attitude!

Letter from Madam President

Hi to all Auxiliary Ladies,

Our Auxiliary officers were installed on June 10th. Please join us for our meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. We would really like to see more members get involved in our activities and have some fun doing it. This is a great opportunity to get to know other club members.

Sisters in our Thoughts and Prayers: Sue Crews, Dawn Jones, Shirley Hines, Cathy Huver, Shirley Mills, Sue Pugh, Rose Emerson, Freida Andrews and any other sisters that I am not aware of.

Monday night Bingo is one of our biggest money makers and this is one area we could use your help. If YOU could volunteer once in a while and want to see the Charlotte Eagles be a great club, PLEASE VOLUNTEER! If you can help Bingo, please contact Kay Birgy directly at 543-5622.
Come out and join in on the fun "NASCAR Derby" July 18th. This is a must see event. Good Food, Drawings and many good races.

Letter from Trustees

Hello from the Trustees. We have a relatively new group this year and we are learning to work together team and at the same time learn the workings of the club.

There are a few projects we are investigating now to increase the curb appeal for our current building as we look to the future.

We have a suggestion in the Social Room and look forward to input from the membership.
